Description
Lychee bubble tea syrup, 2.5kg bottle, about 50 drinks at 1 part syrup to 5 parts tea, milk or water. It pours pale gold and needs a shake before it goes anywhere.
Lychee is floral and sweet, with something of rose and pear in it. That perfume is why it belongs over jasmine green tea, and why the drink needs very little else in the glass. Long over soda and ice it makes a lighter option for a list that is heavy on milk teas.
For a bar or a shop selling lychee daily, a 2.5kg bottle is the right unit. The 1.2kg covers around 24 drinks for lower turnover, and the 150g sachet exists so you can put lychee in front of three customers before ordering a bottle of anything.
- About 50 drinks a bottle at 50g of syrup a glass.
- Floral and perfumed. Belongs over jasmine green tea above all.
- Vegan, gluten free and dairy free.
- Made in Taiwan.
Add lychee popping boba for a double hit, or serve it over tapioca pearls.
