Description

Black sugar boba pearls in a 250g pouch, about 5 servings, ready to eat. They are pre-cooked, so they can go into a drink straight from the pouch; to serve them warm, cover with boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water for 2 minutes and drain.

The flavour is the dark caramel note of a black sugar milk tea. It comes from the flavouring and a plain caramel colour; there is no black sugar in the pearl, and the sweetness is the malt syrup it is made on. That malt syrup carries gluten from barley, so unlike our plain tapioca pearls these are not for anyone avoiding gluten. Made in China.

How to use

Ready to eat straight from the pouch. To serve warm, cover the pearls with boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water, leave for 2 minutes, drain and add to the drink.
