Description

The Bobaslush slushy bubble tea kit makes nine frozen drinks, three each of strawberry, mango and green apple, in the three squishy cups that come in the box. No blender, no ice crusher and nothing on the hob.

The cup does the work. Pour in a syrup and about 270ml of cold water, seal it and leave it in the freezer for 12 to 20 hours. Then squeeze the cup until the block breaks into slush, tip in the matching popping boba and drink it through the wide bamboo straw. Strawberry comes out pink and jammy, mango deep gold, green apple sharp and bright green.

The freezer time is the thing to plan around: this is a drink you set up the night before rather than one you make on the spot. It is one of our three best-selling kits, and each syrup in it is matched to popping boba in the same fruit. The cocktail kit is the same format with pineapple and lychee in it, and the iced coffee kit swaps the fruit out altogether.

How to use

Add one syrup and about 270ml of cold water to a squishy cup. Freeze for 12 to 20 hours. Squeeze the cup until the ice breaks into a smooth slush, top with the matching popping boba, add a wide bamboo straw and serve straight away.

Storage

Store all kit components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Check individual packaging for best-before dates. Popping boba should be refrigerated after opening and consumed within 5 days.
