Description
Taro boba pearls in a 250g pouch, about 5 servings, with nothing to cook. Eat them straight from the pouch, or cover them with boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water for 2 minutes and drain to serve them warm in a taro milk tea.
The taste is the smooth, nutty one of taro milk tea and it comes from flavouring, not the root: there is no taro in the ingredients, and the colour is two added colours, Brilliant Blue FCF and Allura Red AC. Like the other two pouches these are made on malt syrup, which brings gluten from barley, so they are not for anyone avoiding gluten. Made in China.
The pouch is the flavoured, ready-to-eat end of our tapioca range; black sugar and matcha are the other two flavours. For a plain pearl, the instant 50g sachets take boiling water and under 5 minutes, and the 1kg bag of black tapioca pearls is the everyday bag for the traditional cook.

How to use
Ready to eat straight from the pouch. To serve warm, cover the pearls with boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water, leave for 2 minutes, drain and add to the drink.
