Description
Matcha boba pearls in a 250g pouch, about 5 servings, ready to eat. Straight from the pouch they go into a cold drink; for a warm one, give them 2 minutes in boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water, then drain.
The flavour is a gentle green tea note rather than a strong matcha hit, and it comes from flavouring: there is no tea in the pearl, and the green is added colour: Brilliant Blue FCF and Tartrazine, with a plain caramel. The base is malt syrup, which brings gluten from barley, so these are not for anyone avoiding gluten. Made in China.
The 250g pouch is the flavoured, ready-to-eat size in our tapioca range, in matcha, black sugar and taro. If you want a plain pearl to sweeten yourself, the instant 50g sachets are ready in under 5 minutes, and the 200g bag of black tapioca pearls is a first cook the traditional way.

How to use
Ready to eat straight from the pouch. To serve warm, cover the pearls with boiling water at 1 part pearls to 5 parts water, leave for 2 minutes, drain and add to the drink.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Reseal the pouch after opening.
