Description

Taro bubble tea syrup in a 1.2kg bottle, the café size. Mix 1 part syrup with 5 parts milk or water for about 24 drinks a bottle at 50g each, with nothing to heat or whisk.

Taro tastes sweet, nutty and a little like vanilla, the flavour of the taro milk tea on every bubble tea menu. This is the syrup version of that flavour: it stirs straight into cold milk, so a taro milk tea is syrup, milk, ice and pearls. There is no colouring in the ingredients, so the drink stays the colour of the milk; the purple you see in a shop comes from taro powder, which is 11.5% taro.

The 1.2kg bottle is the only size taro syrup comes in. It suits a household that makes taro milk tea every week or a small counter.

How to use

Shake the bottle. Stir 50g of syrup into 250ml of cold milk or oat milk and pour over ice and pearls.
