Taro bubble tea powder in a 150g sachet, the size for trying taro before buying a bag. Stir 1 part taro powder into 12 parts hot water or milk. Taro powder is 11.5% of the mix, third on the list after sugar and maltodextrin, and it makes the nutty, vanilla-sweet purple taro milk tea that the shops serve.
Taro is a starchy root vegetable, and the taro powder in this mix is what gives the drink its flavour; the purple comes from allura red and brilliant blue. There is no tea in the sachet, so a taro milk tea powder drink made from it is powder and milk, the taro latte way, and it works hot as readily as it does over ice. Made in Taiwan.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Once opened, reseal tightly and use within 3 months. Do not use if powder is clumped or discoloured.
