Description

The Bobashake bubble tea kit makes 12 shaken, milkshake-style boba drinks. In the box are flavoured powders and syrups, three 100g pots of popping boba, reusable cups, bamboo straws and the recipe card; you add the milk or a milk alternative. It contains wheat, barley, milk and soya, from the biscuit and chocolate inclusions in the box, so it is the one kit in the range that suits neither a plant-based diet nor anyone avoiding gluten.

Popping boba are pearls of syrup in a thin skin that bursts between the teeth, and here they go into a shake rather than a tea. The powders and syrups are the flavour, the milk is yours, and the recipe card covers the method.

Which kit. This is the shake in a range of teas. The Milk kit is the milk tea version with tapioca pearls and tea bags; the Fruity and Summer Fruits kits are fruit teas over ice; the Coffee Shop kit is iced coffee. Those four carry a plant-based diet line; this one does not, because of the biscuit and chocolate inclusions. Boxed with cups and straws, it is a gift for the person who orders the shake.

Storage

Store all kit components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Check individual packaging for best-before dates. Refrigerate popping boba after opening and consume within 5 days.
