The flavour is bold and roasted, and the pearls are as sweet as the fruit ones: 26 g of sugars per 100g, the same figure as every flavour in the 600g range, with sorbitol and a little malic acid in the list alongside the coffee flavouring. Drop them into an iced latte, a milk tea, a taro milk tea or a chocolate bubble tea, or spoon them over ice cream.

Coffee comes in two sizes. The 100g pot is a single drink and the place to start if you have never had coffee boba. This 600g tub is the household size, and with a five-day life once opened it wants a home that will pour a dozen drinks in that week.
