Description
Lychee bubble tea syrup in a 1.2kg bottle, the café size. Diluted 1 part syrup to 5 parts jasmine tea, water or milk, the bottle makes about 24 drinks at 50g each. It is a syrup for flavouring drinks, not tinned lychees in syrup.
Lychee is floral and sweet with a faint rose note, and the classic pairing is jasmine green tea. Beyond bubble tea it works in a lychee martini, and topped up with soda water it does the job of a lychee cordial.
The 150g sachet is one round of drinks, the sensible first buy if you have never tasted lychee. This 1.2kg bottle is eight sachets and suits a shop or a household that makes lychee tea every week. For a counter pouring it all day, the 2.5kg bottle costs less per drink.
- 1 part syrup to 5 parts tea, milk or water. About 24 drinks.
- Pour and stir, no heating. Works cold in iced tea and cocktails.
- Vegan, gluten free and dairy free.
- Made in Taiwan.
Serve it with lychee popping boba in a jasmine green tea, or over tapioca pearls.
