The flavour is tangy passion fruit and the pearls are a golden yellow. Passion fruit syrup and passion fruit flavouring go into the recipe, coloured with three colours including sunset yellow, which no other flavour in this size uses. Each pearl is a thin skin over the syrup and pops when bitten. It sits well in a green tea, in a mango fruit tea, or over a pineapple slush.

Passion fruit is sold in three sizes, and this tub is the biggest of the three. The 100g pot is for trying the flavour and the 1.6kg tub is the café size at around 35 servings. This 3.4kg tub holds twice that, and an opened tub lives in the fridge, so it is the right buy where passion fruit goes out every day.
