These are the dark ones. Each pearl is filled with blueberry syrup and blueberry flavouring, and the rich purple-blue comes from Brilliant Blue FCF and Allura Red AC in the colour list. The taste is sweet and deeply fruity, a jammy berry rather than a sharp one. It sits well in a vanilla milk tea, a classic milk tea or an oolong.

A 100g pot is a taster, and it is the only small size blueberry comes in. The one step up is the 1.6kg tub, the café size at around 35 servings, so if the pot wins you over that is where to go next.
